Scared to say it...

I'm scared to say it - but for the most part we are healthy again... Still coughing but no fevers anyway! We were actually able to venture out of the house today. Here's a picture of Brayden and Brianna with their good friends Lauren and Andrew. I can't believe I got a picture of them lined up so nicely! (It would have been too much to ask them to all look at me at the same time too!) The little ones opening their presents... Andrew wanted Brianna's toy (as you will see in a couple of pictures).

It continues...

Thankfully Brianna has been feeling better (still not perfect but at least she's eating and sleeping again). Unfortunately, Brayden now has it (fevers and a cough that's keeping most of us awake at night). Please continue to pray for our family! We did get a new washing machine (haven't tried it out yet - but it looks nice)!

Polar Bear Express

Sunday, we went on the Polar Bear Express with Yia Yia, Pa Pou, Chris, Brad, Sam, Grace, and Grant. The kids had a great time hearing a story and riding the train with Santa and Snowflake (the polar bear).
Brianna looks scared in this picture - however, she was actually giving the bear and Santa high fives, waving, and smiling - a huge improvement from the week before at the mall when she was shaking just looking at Santa!

This picture is very deceitful... Brianna has been very sick this last week. I had to take her to the ER saturday. She's been coughing like crazy, has a runny nose, low-grade fever, beginning of double ear infections, 2 top teeth coming in, and has thrown up in her bed 4 times since friday! Poor baby! She hasn't been sleeping or eating well. Please pray for God to heal her little body and protect the rest of us. (In addition, she fell off the slide this week, burnt her finger on the vaporizer, and our washing machine decided to stop working after we already put in a puke blanket and sheet.)

Halloween

Last night was crazy! We basically just tried to keep up with all the kids last night - running from house to house! Brayden had to ditch the mask because he just couldn't see! Brianna actually kept her crown on all night! By the last couple of houses she had finally got the hang of things and was picking out her own candy to put in her pumpkin! Here's Brayden and Brayden (we went to Franklin Central High School for their Treats not Tricks)...

OCTOBER!!!

We've been celebrating a lot this month! Gary turned 30 on the 14th and Brayden turned 4 on the 23rd. We went to Watermans to get pumpkins and we just got back from a family vacation to the mountains in Tennessee! We had a great time - Brayden and Brianna did awesome in the car - despite the horrible traffic. We visited Nascar speedpark (Brayden took a ride in a go cart), Ripley's aquarium (we met the Hassingers there), Dixie Stampede dinner show (the kids LOVED this), Laurel Falls (a 2.5 mile walk to a water fall), and Wonderworks (similar to Science Central - this was very entertaining for all of us). It's been a great month!

What have we been up to...

Brianna loves to have her picture taken (actually she just loves to see herself in the picture after it's taken) - so here she is posing in front of the fireplace! Brianna actually seems better today (first day in about 3 weeks) - no more fever. She had 2 teeth poke through this week but her mouth is definitely still bothering her.

Here is a picture of Brayden before school on picture day! Gary took him outside to practice posing! The Brayden and daddy twins!
Here's Brianna next to her new favorite place - the couch... All she wants to do is get on the couch so she stands there and says up repeatedly. She asked Brayden to put her up there the other day so he picked her up and pushed her on the couch - it was really cute! Brianna has been sick for a while now - one thing after another (fever, stomach probs., rash - again, diaper rash, teething, vaccines, runny nose, sneezing, sleeping difficulties... to name just a few!!!) Please pray that she can finally get better so she can get back to learning more new words!

Alex...

This is "Alex" the dalmation puppy!!! Gary took the kids to Chic-fil-a the other night for family night and as you can see Brayden got his face painted. He was so proud of it he wanted to share it with all of you. For those of you who know Brianna - you understand why her face isn't painted... Washing it off would be pure misery - for all!!!
