A hunk of change, a broken finger, and a dented fence later...
So we moved on to our next project this week... We decided to build the kids a swing set. But unlike normal people, we had to design it all by ourselves. The second day into it, Gary did something brilliant and broke his finger (thankfully the left hand - but things have been interesting). He hasn't been in pain - so that's great - but it is definitely fractured (x-rays to prove it). So anyway, his slavedriver wife made sure the swing set got finished. I actually did a decent amount of work on it considering he can only work with one hand. Alright - so for the dented fence part... We borrowed our neighbor's riding lawn mower and going down hill Gary stalled and ran into our fence! (He says he "slid" into it.) That will need some work! Hopefully, this week was worth it and the kids will have a lot of fun on their new swing set!
Gary and I have been married since July 8th, 2000. We have 2 children - Brayden was born 10/23/03 and Brianna was born 6/21/06. We have a black lab named Boston. Gary has his own graphic design business called Gogis Design. I am currently a nurse on an oncology floor at St. Francis Beech Grove.
