Easter Egg Hunt

Today Gary and I were able to go to Brianna's school and hide eggs for their Easter Egg Hunt! The kids were so cute looking for the eggs with their names on them! Here are a few kids from her class - Ellie, Brianna, Katie, Erin (Ellie's little sister), and I'll have to ask Brianna who the little boy is! Here's the class getting started on the hunt - and Brianna pausing for a pic! So sweet:)
Since we're going to Florida next week and I have to work on Easter day we decided to go ahead and start celebrating a little early. Here are the Easter eggs we decorated! Back row left to right - Gary made a blue bird, Brayden made Mario, Brianna made Princess Peach, and I made a flower (yes, I know it's boring - but I'm hoping there's some serious flower power when we do our egg fight!).

Grant's 4th Birthday Party!

This last sunday we got to go celebrate Grant's 4th birthday! The kids are so cute together! They had fun doing "challenges" in the basement and painting wooden models of cars and bird houses.
Here's Brianna posing beautifully for the camera! Brayden hard at work!
After the fighting over chairs was taken care of - the kids had a good time eating and singing happy birthday - cha cha cha!

Kid's bathroom

Last week I got motivated to paint the kids' bathroom. I was inspired by this toothbrush holder and shower curtain we saw at Target:) Since we had just painted the laundry room - we just used the leftover paint from that! The kids LOVE their new bathroom! I love the fact that the previously dirty wall is now clean and new!

March fun

In case you're not picking up a theme here - Gary and I do a lot of fun stuff with Brianna on mondays. This particular monday we went to the Flower and Patio show to get ideas for our yard! Gary bought his girls some roses - Brianna enjoyed all the displays! My mom was able to stay with us for a few days in March. Yes, another monday, we ate downtown at a Greek restaurant, then went in search of ducks to feed at the Canal. Right when we were about to turn back - I saw some ducks in the distance! They had been resting on the opposite side of the canal but as soon as they saw us coming they made their way right toward us! I don't know how they knew we had food for them - several other people walked by and the ducks didn't seem to care about them! My mom was feeding the female duck right from her hand!

The ladies!

We had a birthday celebration at our house for my dad and my sister Allison. It was fun to have everyone over (except for Daniel and Kim - we missed them).

Brianna was hilarious this day - making everyone laugh!

More gymnastics!

Here are a few pics from Brianna's current gymnastics class!

Squidward ("Snowward") - gotta love the Gary creations!

Trip to the zoo with Brianna

Another funday monday adventure (Brayden at school) - we went to see the dolphin show at the zoo. It was still pretty chilly outside - but not too cold for the dessert. Most the animals had some serious spring fever!

Gogis family time

Mike and Laura came to Indy for a quick visit so we all hung out in Zionsville... Here are a few pics!

For the past several months Brianna has been taking gymnastics at The Gymnastics Company. She'd been in the same class the whole time and I had asked the teacher what she would need to do to move up to the next class. Her teacher told me she needed to work on her cartwheels - so after several weeks of not wanting to practice these at home, I got out the old crib mattress and in less than a week Brianna was doing pretty good cartwheels! Good enough that her teacher let her move up to the next class! She is definitely the smallest/youngest in her new class - but she is so darn cute! A few weeks ago my friend, Stephanie, had her baby MacKenna. Brianna and I went over to meet her and to play with Emma! Here's the happy family:)

A couple of weeks ago we decided to paint the laundry room. We wanted it to remind us of ocean water. Now our laundry room glows out in the hallway! Our little painter - Brianna - did a great job helping us out! (As you can see from the pics - Brayden has been at school while we've been busy! I'll have to get more pics of him!)

I took Brianna to the Children's Museum - just the 2 of us. I used to take Brayden all the time - but for Brianna this was a special occasion! We had a lot of fun! Here she is helping build a wall in the Bob the Builder exhibit.

Here's Brianna pretending to be a mommy dinosaur with her eggs!

Here's a video of Brianna's cartwheel:
