Sledding!

We finally got the snow they've been saying we were going to get all winter! No school today! We went out to play in the snow and Brianna just stood there and cried because she couldn't move - the snow was too deep. This afternoon - after their fake naps - we went sledding at a park in Beech Grove with the Kecks. Brianna liked this much better (probably because the little princess got carried up the hill)!

Gary and Brayden wiped out! Brayden thought it was great! (So did Gary;))

Here's a picture of Chloe, Brianna, Sophi, and Brayden right before they started sledding! Brayden and Sophi!

Notice in this picture Brianna is facing backwards - everytime we'd go down the hill snow would blow in our faces! I wish I had more pictures! Brianna and Chloe spent a lot of time at the top of the hill playing with shovels and buckets (I think they're more summer beach girls!)! Poor Brad found a rock - unfortunately his tailbone had to suffer!

Just when you think they're better!

Just when we thought Brianna was getting better we hear a little cry (that turned into a big cry) around 11:00 last night. When I finally got her calm enough to tell me what was wrong she said her ear hurt! I'm so glad she's to the point where she can tell me what hurts! So after medicating her - Gary and I took turns staying in her room. She slept better if she knew we were right there. Our good friend (Jen) is a Dr. and she checked her out and sure enough the ears were pink! Hopefully, the antibiotics and eardrops will help her and she'll be healed in time for our flight to Florida (don't want a painful airplane ride)!
Oh - and Brayden learned to tie his shoes this week! Still needs practice but has the hang of it!

Update...

So far today - the kids are fever free! Brianna still has a stuffy nose but otherwise seems good. Brayden has discovered his first loose tooth this morning (bottom left)! He's very excited!

Bri's first official haircut at Cookie Cutters!!!

After a couple of days of being shut in with sick kids, Brayden went back to school and I took Brianna to get her hair cut for the first official time at Cookie Cutters - at age 2 1/2! (I've cut it a couple of times - but just snipped it here and there...) She picked the pink car to sit in of course! She got to watch Backyardigans and read a Little Mermaid book. Afterwards, she picked out a purple balloon. She was such a good girl!

Interesting day at the Gogis'

It's so hard to take picture of a small bathroom - but here are 4 of our downstairs bathroom after we finished it today!

Brianna had an interesting day... During her fake nap she found some purple lip gloss and smeared it all over her face, clothes, tights, bed, and other various places in her room. She has a cold (runny nose and cough) and during dinner she gave our small group quite a show while she threw up her entire meal in front of everyone (into my hands - yummy). She's been known to throw up when she gets gagged from a cough so it's hard to know if she did that or has a stomach bug... However, as soon as she stopped throwing up she yells out, "I want a brownie"!!!! I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard! So that's our interesting day!

Pictures from Nov - Dec!

It's been so cold - but we went outside very briefly on wednesday evening...

The Hostetlers were so nice to take us to see Dancing With the Stars Live at Conseco - this is a short video from our suite seats!

Christmas and New Year's

We stayed at my sister's house for New Year's Eve! Here is a picture of the kids' countdown! All the Gogis' grandkids - Logan (3), Sam (2), Grant (2), Grace (5), Landon (5 months), Brayden (5), Brianna (2)
Should have worn this shirt the other night - maybe it would have been better luck!

Brianna showing off her new dollhouse that her daddy made for her - isn't it so cute!

Boston waiting for his stocking - he was so funny this year - he knew exactly what we meant when we asked him if he wanted to open his stocking - he ran right to it!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Merry Christmas from Brayden!

Pics from Dec.

For Christmas Eve we went to church then came home and had a nice dinner and opened a few gifts. Here is the gift my kids gave me - my favorite gift this year! They printed up the entire blog and put it in a book for me! So cool! Brayden's typical excited picture!
Here are all the kids making Christmas cookies! Brianna is eating as usual!

The Brayden's exchanging gifts - can't believe they start kindergarten in the fall!

The matching girls!

Go Buckeyes!!!

As you can see, Gary dressed us all today! We are hoping for a better Buckeye game than the Colts played the other night! Gary cracks me up - he wants to make sure everyone can read his shirt - so cheesy!
