So tired...

Well, the kids actually slept pretty well last night - thank God! However, Brayden is actually worse today than he was all weekend. His temperature was back up in the high 99's low 100's and he is so tired. Brianna on the other hand has some serious insomnia! One of the possible side effects of the amoxicillin she's taking is hyperactivity and insomnia. She has been so good - just not wanting to take naps. So anyway, we're still so tired and need another good night of sleep! Keep praying for our family!

Quick update

Brayden and Brianna seem to be doing better... We've had 4 rough nights but we're hoping (and praying really hard) that tonight will be better. They have been fever free today. Brayden still has a cough and his "language" is still funny. (Those are his words.) Brianna is crawling like crazy and making really cute faces with her nose scrunched up. She was able to pull herself up to standing today (on a little breakfast tray) and her balance is improving. She changes so quickly... One moment she's immobile - laying on a blanket - the next she's all over the place in everyone's business!

Sick house...

Both Brayden and Brianna are sick... High fevers, cough, sneeze, tired, occasional sore throat, etc. Fortunately, we had Brianna's 9 month appt. scheduled for today - so we got them both checked out. Brayden looks fine. Brianna's left ear looked a little full and slightly red so she gets to be on amoxocillin for 10 days - fun times! Also, she is teething on the top (finally). Thankfully she wasn't due for any shots. Anyway, that's the sick scoop. Please pray for our family to get better (and that Gary and I can avoid this nasty sickness).

Today I saved $17...

I decided to be brave and cut Brayden's hair today! He did really well! Here he is enjoying his after haircut sucker!

This time the crying really was about a tooth!

Brianna's 3rd tooth finally made it's appearance... For some reason she's only getting her bottom teeth. We have yet to see any white on top!
And not to leave Brayden out - he said the cutest prayer tonight! He said, "Dear Jesus, I love you and want to come to heaven with you. Amen." I had to write it down!

I learned something new last night...

Last night I learned how to stretch my arm just enough to reach my butterfly mobile! It was pretty exciting! Today I was able to push myself back up to a sitting position! Watch out world, here I come!

Brianna made a friend this week! Her name is Jillian and she is only 5 days younger!

This is the first time that Brayden and Brianna got to go on a bike ride together! They were so cute sharing the blanket! Brianna liked swinging... as long as she was going high enough! (At this age Brayden liked to swing but he would be gripping the swing so tight! Notice she's just leaning back and relaxing!)

Since I'm obviously not going to have hair any time soon, I thought I ought to find a cute hat to keep my bald head warm!

Yesterday, Brianna actually moved forward (up to this point she'd been going every other direction)!
