Something new...

While I was at work today, Brianna decided to learn something new... She found out that she can rock back and forth when she's on her hands and knees (one step closer to crawling)! Brayden is going to have to stop playing Lingo with his tiny magnetic letters on the floor!

A small miracle happened this week...

Brianna has been sleeping so good this week!!! We've been putting her to bed around 8 and she hasn't been waking up till almost 7!!! (Until this week, she had been waking up at least once throughout the night - if not 2 or 3 times. I hope I'm not jinxing anything!)
As you can see, Brianna is sitting up by herself very well. She's an expert roller and she can crawl backwards or in circles. However, going forward is a little more difficult. She gets excited and her arms go up like she's flying and she starts kicking. She can lift her belly up off the floor - but she hasn't quite figured out how to move in that position!
Brayden is a reading machine! He amazes us everyday! He loves playing any type of game. I think he's going to be a game show host when he grows up!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in Naples! It was so warm and sunny!

We made it home safely! It's amazing how good it always feels to be back in your own house!

Naples day 3

Let's just say Brianna is queen of this king bed! Somehow she has managed to start out in her crib (nicely hidden away in the closet) and ends up back in bed with us and takes over the entire thing! I feel sorry for her future husband!!!

Naples day 2

We saw a lot of Dolphins swimming right in front of us today! Here is one we took a picture of:

Today started out a little rocky... We spent way too long looking for a place to eat breakfast and by the time we got back it was raining and kind-of cold (at least for Florida). However, it turned out to be a pretty good day. We got to swim a little (the water was warm in the pool but the air was freezing). We played in the sand a bunch and had a good dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger! Here is a view from our balcony!

First Day in Naples

We made it to Naples safely! Brianna survived her first airplane ride (however she did scream for about 30 minutes of it)! The hotel is awesome! We can see the ocean from our room - which has an amazing balcony. Brayden tried out his water wings tonight in the pool and he has found a new freedom - he loves them!!! We walked on the beach tonight and saw a dolphin! Now we're just praying everyone will sleep tonight in the same room! Brayden has already been yelled at about 10 times for making noise, etc. in his bed (but thankfully Brianna was so tired she is sleeping).

Yesterday was Grandma Ginny's birthday! Happy Birthday! We love you!!!

Brayden's true excitement when he finally got the Nickelodeon Scene It he'd been asking for. Early Valentine's gifts (since we'll hopefully be basking in the Florida sun on the 14th)!

My family came down for my birthday this weekend. Brayden wasn't feeling the best... But he felt good enough to open all my presents while I was on the phone! I looked over and everything was out of the packages and spread out over the floor! I guess that was his special way of telling me Happy Birthday!
